Welcome to the website of the World Krav Maga Association/Shojujitsu Karate Do Association. Here you will find information on the WKMA, SKDA, its associate members, instructors and courses.
Krav Maga translates to "Contact Combat" and was originally developed in the 1940's as the official self-defence and hand-to-hand combat system for the Israeli military. Since then Krav Maga has grown and been adopted by numerous military and law enforcement organisations around the world. In addition, Krav Maga is now being taught to thousands of civilians worldwide who recognise it as the most effective way of defending themselves in an increasingly violent and unpredictable society. Attend one of our lessons and see for yourself the control and ease of using Krav Maga. This system is being taught to Military and Police forces both in the UK and abroad as a no-nonsense system that works. Our course is open to police, military, security personnel and civilians, who recognise they need a controlled self defence system for either their work or just to protect themselves on our streets.
Krav Maga & Self Defence lessons for Adults every Monday night from 22nd February 2010 in Central London 6:30 - 8:30PM. £5 per student.
